Ziyanda Stuurman holds an MA degree in Conflict, Security and Development from the School of Global Studies at Sussex University. She also holds an MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University. She has been a Chevening Scholar and a Fulbright Scholar. She is a frequent commentator on the state of policing in South Africa.
