He was diagnosed with Parkinson's shortly after turning 50. Alan is also the author of An Introduction to Dyslexia for Parents and Professionals and What is Dyslexia? A Book Explaining Dyslexia for Kids and Adults to Use Together, both published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers. Lydia T.
