About the Author

Donald G. Shockley retired in 1999 after over thirty-five years of experience as a university chaplain, having served Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama, the University of Redlands in California, and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Shockley also served for three years on the Executive Committee of the National Campus Ministry Association.
