About the Author

Andrew Morris is an author's author, quite literally. He is a pen name, chosen at his publisher's expense (sorry D). The original concept for "True Believer" was to be a series of books that continued the story that began in "Sporadic Ravings of a Lunatic." However, when I began working on the first book of the series, I ran into a great deal of trouble expanding on the idea. I then came up with the concept of approaching the various issues that arise due to differences in religious beliefs. The problem I have run into with that is that it comes to mind more like an editorial piece, which is not what I'm going for. Unfortunately, at this time I feel like "True Believer" may be dead in the water; however, I am not willing to give up on it just yet. I'm going to set it aside, and try to return to it later when I determine the best approach to a plot. I may make some small changes to "Ravings" as a result. In the meantime, I have started work on a fun little piece I'm calling "Campus Chaos" which takes place in a future where martial law is in effect. "Campus Chaos" will explore what that means for a junior college that has its own police force and the members of that police force. Somewhere in the darkest depths of your minds, you may find a Morris-esque voice. Don't be afraid to at least hear it out. There is more to life than what we are taught, and sometimes it is what you think you know that hurts you.
