The objective of this book is to analyze the upcoming trends that will define the next few years, and how they will converge, creating a world of opportunities, but also threats. About the Author

Efrén Ruiz Arregui es licenciado en Economía, con maestría en Administración Pública y Políticas Públicas, del Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Es un joven empresario mexicano, cuya visión se ha nutrido de diversas experiencias, siendo en dos ocasiones representante de la Juventud Latinoamericana en la Comisión de Desarrollo Social de la ONU, a través de la Organización Mundial de Jóvenes (World Youth Alliance). Ha recibido capacitación en diversos cursos, como Mexico’s Energy Future por la J.F. Kennedy School of Government de la Universidad de Harvard, e Inteligencia Cambiaria por Harbor Intelligence.
Su trayectoria profesional incluye participación en gobierno. Fue candidato a Diputado Local para la Asamblea Legislativa. Contribuyó en la elaboración de las principales propuestas del sector empresarial para el foro económico más relevante, el G-20, organizado por la Presidencia de México.
Fue secretario particular del presidente de la Confederación de Cámaras Nacionales de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo, organización que representa a más de 650,000 empresas en todo México. Formó parte del equipo del Secretario de Economía del Gobierno Federal durante el periodo 2016–2018.

Efrén Ruiz Arregui has a degree in Economics, with a master's degree in Public Administration and Public Policy, from the Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He is a young Mexican businessman, whose vision has been nourished by various experiences, being twice the representative of Latin American Youth in the UN Commission for Social Development, through the World Youth Alliance. He has received training in various courses, such as Mexico’s Energy Future by J.F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and Exchange Intelligence by Harbor Intelligence.
His professional career includes participation in government. He was a candidate for Local Deputy for the Legislative Assembly. He contributed to the preparation of the main proposals of the business sector for the most relevant economic forum, the G-20, organized by the Presidency of Mexico.
He was private secretary to the president of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism, an organization that represents more than 650,000 companies throughout Mexico. He was part of the team of the Secretary of Economy of the Federal Government during the period 2016–2018.
