Overview

Caelum Ranald ran his love life like fire-ground tactics: pull a line, extinguish the flames, and move out. No rekindles.

His calculations were off the night he met Mina. She gave him exactly what he desired but left him begging for more—not the usual deal for this level-headed Aquarius.

Ximena De Luca craved independence. She made sure everything in her world brought her goals to the surface. What she miscalculated in her plan was meeting a man who would change her life forever.

About the Author

Maggie Jane Schuler is a wife, mother of three almost-grown children, and teacher by day. While she has always loved to read, the thought of writing her own prose did not strike until she was in the middle of writing her master’s thesis. From that point on, she was hooked.

She resides in Southern California. Besides the family and books, she loves baseball. Since the Dodgers, Angels, and Padres are all within a short distance, and the Giants and Athletics a nice weekend jaunt away, she’s got plenty of games to take in during the season. Additionally, she enjoys cooking, movies, the beach, and the local mountains. She’s most content being with her family engaged in whatever activity they have planned.

Morgan Heyward was raised in the Wild West. Her home state of Arizona subject to intense summer rainstorms, Gila monsters and the majestic Saguaro cacti. A desert rat through and through, she prefers holing up in the air-conditioned shopping malls during the sweltering summer, than braving the snowy Bigfoot populated forests of the Northwest, during the winter. A wife, mother of a teenage human, and cat mom to a clowder of felines, she started her writing journey during NaNoWriMo16, when an author she followed on Facebook, issued the NaNo challenge to all of his fans. That little push three years ago was all she needed to get started. Since that time, she’s worked diligently putting words down and creating a world for those NaNo16 plots and ideas. Her first self-published short story, A Demon’s Miracle, takes the reader inside for a glimpse of those characters.

When she’s not putting words to paper, she’s involved in health care and emergency medical services. Raised by a family of nurses, she puts that knowledge to good use toward humans and all of the sick and injured beasties arriving on her front porch. (She’s convinced a cat in the neighborhood put up a flyer with her address on it.)

Morgan looks forward to continuing her NaNo journey. She has several projects up her sleeve in the coming year and is always looking for readers and bloggers to share them with.
