Cactus Jack, as he is sometimes called, is a smoky black who carries a girl on his back. She’s a dead shot with a rifle. Why, she can out-shoot anyone! Her name is Annie Oakley. Cactus Jack and Annie are partners. They head for Cincinnati, Ohio, where Annie plans to compete in a marksmanship contest. Her big competitor is a young man named Frank Butler. He is also an excellent marksman. After the contest is over, Annie and Frank team up. They travel across the country, putting on marksmanship exhibitions.
