About the Author

Rolando Yap Dy Buco was born in 1949 in Culasi, Antique, in the central region of the Philippines. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, in 1972, where he served as editor of the campus paper for 2 years. His 31-year career in the life insurance industry brought him close to understanding the innate human desire for the intangibles. His unplanned early retirement provided him with enough time to reflect and write down long-nurtured thoughts about his own reasons for life. "By His Touch" is his first vehicle that invites the reader to join him to stand witness to his remarkable journey of faith.
