Mid-way through a world trip by motorcycle the authors found themselves in Thailand without bikes. Neither Thailand nor the motorcycle-less aspect was planned and they had to find information on travel by motorcycle in Southeast Asia fast. Every piece of information they were given contradicted the previous. In the end they bought motorcycles in Malaysia and spent six months riding throughout the region.

This handbook is all the information they wish someone had complied for them before they left. It covers how and where to buy bikes, if you should rent or buy, road rules and importation, as well as safety aspects of riding and camping.

About the Author

An avid reader, traveller and writer, I wrote my first book at ten years old, and promptly destroyed it a month later when my classmates refused to stop talking about it. It suggested a temperament that might be counter productive to my declared dream of becoming a published author.
