About the Author

Mary Ann Falter is a retired RN. She planted her first butterfly garden in 2004 near Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2019, she registered her garden with the Plant for Pollinators Challenge sponsored by the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.
Emma Falter is in middle school. She has many interests including art. She provided illustrations including the painting of the black swallowtail butterfly used on the cover of this children"s book.
Genevieve Falter is in grade school and Dean Falter is in preschool. They both enjoy art and provided most of the illustrations in this children's book. Genevieve gave the name 'Butterfly Grandma' to the book title the first night the words were read to her.
