About the Author

Tranay Adams was born and raised on the Eastside of South Central, Los Angeles in a section known as The Low Bottomz. He discovered his love of writing in the fourth grade when he wrote an eight page short story called 'Brandon.' He didn't realize until years later that the story he had written would be considered street-lit today. One day while bored, he picked up a pen and started writing on an empty Styrofoam food container. Slowly, but surely, his story began to manifest until it took on a life of its own and became his very first manuscript ever, Me and My Hittas. Tranay pens raw and uncut street tales with a unique style that provokes emotions and makes you feel as if you're right there beside his characters in the thick of things. His novels are truly a movie in the form of a book. In 2014 Tranay signed with CA$H's Lock Down Publications, but he is now an indie author. To date he has released a total of thirty-two novels.

Chevy is a hardworking, single parent who has been burned by love. She's the type of woman every man says he wants, but few know how to appreciate. She's loyal, committed, knows how to take care of her man and willing to do what it takes to hold him down. Her needs, in returned, are quite simple: fidelity, honesty and loyalty. So when her ex played her for the fool, she ended their relationship and focused on making a life for herself and adolescent son, while also making her dreams of becoming an author come true. But what's a lonely heart to do? She's not just a rider, she's a woman with grown woman needs.

Then enters Tiaz, the handsome man she met online while he was incarcerated. On the surface, he is everything she has spent her life hoping for. Tranay has once again written a gripping story that pulls on a reader's emotions. His words play across the pages like scenes from a movie, allowing the reader to use all of his/her senses to become immersed within the plot of the story. His characters are complex and tragically flawed, they are the people whose urban realities are highlighted in these pages. They are survivors in whatever way they know to maneuver the life that's been handed to them.
