About the Author

Karen Lynn Rose grew up in New York until she was a teenager, when the family moved to Maryland. Her love for writing began in elementary school and continued with her high-school literary magazine. Her passion for poetry at the University of Maryland culminated in poetry recitals. With an English education degree, Karen went on to teach secondary English for over twenty years before becoming a high school assistant principal. Karen lives with her husband in Olney, Maryland.
