About the Author

A native of North Carolina, Jack began his studies at Virginia Tech, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. He later went on to do graduate work at UNC, Greensboro in Biomechanics and Sports Psychology. He has spent his career as Director of Tennis at several sports clubs in Virginia and North Carolina, Director and co-owner of various tennis academies, Coach for several colleges and schools, taking his squads to win major championships and producing 29 junior state champions. He himself has been a top 5-8 ranked player in Virginia and North Carolina since 1988. In 2015 he was honored at the PTR International Tennis Symposium as pro of the year.
