About the Author

Nancy Kelly Allen describes her writing career as windy as the mountain roads surrounding her home near Hazard, Kentucky. She changed paths as a social worker to become a Librarian. Nancy holds dual Master's degrees in Education and Library and Information Science. She has authored over 50 picture books and two middle grade books.

Martyna Nejman cooperates with publishers, as well as with individual clients in creating illustrations for picture books, concept artwork, posters, CDs, and book covers. She takes her inspiration from places, people, and their stories shared over good food. Free time finds Martyna mastering her rock climbing skills or biking. She uses every occasion to escape the city and travel to the Tatra mountains, her favorite place in Poland.
