Budo Method: Develop Self-Awareness, Inner Peace, And Self-Worth
Budotherapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the observation and analysis of the experience of the therapist, the client and the session itself, from the viewpoint of traditional Japanese martial arts – or what might be called "The Budo". The purpose of martial arts has nothing to do with victory or loss in battle, but rather, with psychological growth and spiritual development. Budotherapy is about Self-growth and compassionate presence in the interpersonal healing encounter, common to both psychotherapy and martial arts. This method is also closely related to mindfulness-based therapies, especially Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT), and engages in developing the ability to bravely face deep emotions, contain pain and difficulties, and achieve a life of love, emotional partnership, a sense of security, and inner freedom.Budotherapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the observation and analysis of the experience of the therapist, the client and the session itself, from the viewpoint of traditional Japanese martial arts – or what might be called "The Budo".
