About the Author

Rebecca R.H. Spriggs grew up in the small town of Ellettsville, Indiana. She completed her B.S. in English Education at the University of Evansville in 2002, and she earned her M.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2005.

In 2006 she became a National Board Certified Teacher, and in 2008 she was named the North Carolina English Teacher of the Year by the NCETA.
