Novelist Michael St. James and his brother, Daniel -- abandoned as infants in a California orphanage -- have grown up with a powerful bond of brotherly love. Michael's peaceful existence as a writer is shattered when beautiful librarian Jessica Simms suddenly arrives from Arkansas to deliver crushing news: Daniel, who for years has wandered the country in an effort to find their true identities, now lies comatose in a rural Arkansas hospital. Daniel is enshrouded by a strange blue-violet aura that baffles the doctors. To make matters worse, Daniel is accused of being an ax murderer. Jessica is certain Daniel is innocent.

Drawn together by an inexplicable and irresistible attraction, Michael and Jessica rush to Arkansas where they fall helplessly in love. Together they strive to solve the mystery of the eerie aura surrounding Daniel while facing a vengeful paranormal terrorist who wants them dead. In the end, they uncover a family secret that changes all their lives forever.

Exciting supernatural fireworks, puzzles galore and bizarre attempts to murder Michael, Daniel and Jessica--all make Brothers of the Light an exciting, fast-paced read for those who love the supernatural, a good mystery and the battle against evil.

About the Author

Born in Arkansas and raised in New Orleans, Charles B. Hampton wrote his first story at age 9 about Thor and his mighty hammer. Since then he has published several million non-fiction words, including news and sports stories, several hundred trade-magazine article and numerous gee-whiz science articles. br/>
During his career, he has been musician, sailor, oil-field roughneck, newspaper reporter, aerospace public relations representative, and advertising executive. In January 2013, he retired after serving for 15 years as editor and principal photojournalist for a successful business trade magazine. Brothers of the Light was his first published novel. In addition to Brothers of the Light, he now has three other works: his non-fiction book for writers, Writing Great Stories. Power Hunger, a near-future thriller, and The Oddlings, a book of science-fiction short stories, available on Amazon. He currently has two other new books in the works, so watch for them.br/>
Hampton says, "I've been blessed as home-based, self-employed writer to have been able to raise a family, put four kids through school. . .all with my typewriter, now computer. One complaint, though. The hard part about working at home all these years has been the terrible commute. . .from my bedroom office to the coffeepot!
