Dangerous games are being played throughout Teriador, the houses of Cayal and Bhree, and all the way out to the Elbinon River. The banishment of magic is shattering and with it the darkness from 6,000 years before, the Drulag Paradith, are returning to the world. Their lord, the Arch Mage Kelthior has one purpose that has remained unchanged in six ages, subdue the world and subject it to his rule, purifying the elves and returning humans to the status of owned animals. Against this backdrop, Cayal and Bhree struggle to leap ahead of the impending darkness while keeping themselves from descending into their own darkness.
Brighter Than A Thousand Suns is the story of Cayal and Bhree, a man and an elfin, trying to live their own lives, raise their own family, and do for the world what it can't do on its own to stay alive.
