About the Author

Laura Rey was born in New Jersey and is a survivor of domestic violence with a dream of becoming a best-selling author.
When Laura isn’t writing, she has a career in finance and enjoys her hobby as a streamer on the live platform known as Twitch.
She studied Mathematics and Finance in university. Little did she know she would end up writing a book. When she does write, she usually has a glass of wine or coffee right beside her to help her get deep into her thoughts.
Laura is excited to share her story and real-life experiences with her readers in the hope that it helps them overcome the trauma that comes with experiencing abusive situations.
