About the Author

From the age of twelve I wanted to be a psychologist. I wanted to really understand what was happening to me. I wanted to understand myself, my mum, and my entire family. What drives a paedophile? What makes people assume, label and judge? I wanted to help other people like me. I wanted to put an end to abuse everywhere because knowing how much it effected my life, I couldnt imagine how anyone could go through abuse in a worse situation than me, without the resources I was able to come across to get out of the situation and then start to work through the effects it had on every area of my life. I am now passionate about spirituality and wellbeing, and practice this through loving acts such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness and eating well for my body. I love to write and do so as another way of healing. I currently live on a property in Western Australia with my husband and work in disability support. My dream is to combine my passions to help people feel beautiful and happy inside and out. I have worked in many customer centred roles. I love learning and have acquired lots of different skills through my varied courses. I admire all the different ways we view and experience the world, and love seeing life in as many perspectives as possible. I choose to be forgiving and loving and giving to all of which life created, including me.
