About the Author

Nathan D. Zasler, MD, FAAPM&R, FAADEP, DAAPM is an internationally respected physician who specializes in acquired brain injury (ABI) care and neurorehabilitation. He is CEO and Medical Director of the Concussion Care Centre of Virginia, an outpatient neurorehabilitation practice specializing, as well as, Tree of Life, a transitional neurorehabilitation and long term care program for persons with ABI. Dr. Zasler is chief editor of the international scientific publications NeuroRehabilitation, The International Neurotrauma Letter, and Brain Injury. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the International Brain Injury Association.
