Brain Dead is the third book in a series of poetry and prose by AMS Golden (Conversations from the Left, Right, and Heart, 2021; Divorce of the Left & Right, 2022). It chronicles the struggle of following one's heart through the head's noise, and what happens to the heart as a result. Brain Dead picks up right where Divorce of the Left & Right ended and addresses the very raw and real emotions and feelings experienced over the last three years of AMS Golden's life.
AMS Golden has never claimed to be a poet. Her only hope was that maybe something she wrote (something she felt) would reach someone else who felt it too, and suddenly...
