About the Author

Elisabeth Davis is a Scottish-American author/illustrator whose mother came from the Isle of Arran, a small island off the west coast of Scotland. After her retirement as a college English professor, Davis began to dabble in watercolors and create children's stories. Brae Visits Arran is her second children's picture book. Harley, The Throwaway Puppy, is her first book, and both books' proceeds are donated to animal rescue charities.
