Bracelets of Light

Overview

Diana Bennett takes a vacation on the island of Capri, Italy. There she finds a beautiful bracelet on the beach and is told it may be one of two described in a legend. The legend is of a man and woman with love in their hearts for all people and things, and the bracelets will open the door to knowledge and wisdom. After several exciting adventures, she is joined by Arion, a marine biologist who has the other bracelet and is researching the existence of mermaids. Together they search in towns along the Italian coast for clues that lead to the secret door.

About the Author

Donna Ovist grew up on a farm in Oregon, married and raised four children, then moved to Arizona to pursue her studies of the southwest Native American culture.
Her hobbies include photography, making silver jewelry, amateur archeology and playing adventure computer games.
While playing a computer game she became acquainted with the games' creator who suggested she come to Capri, Italy where the game takes place, to experience the island in real life and to practice her photography. The game creator was impressed with her work and invited her to use some of her photos in the making of his second game, "Anacapri the Dream" along with recruiting people for the English voice over and using her own voice for narration.
Donna is now retired and living in Peoria, Arizona with her husband and working on a new book that takes place in the desert of Arizona.
