Overview

Billy and Rocky run a struggling upholstery/general fix-it shop in Southern Indiana, directly across the Ohio river from Louisville, Kentucky, with hopes and dreams of attaining enough success to relocate to a warmer climate. Hence the name: B. (Billy's &) R. (Rocky's) Dream

If the stress of running a small business weren't enough for Billy, he's forced to juggle his frantic family life. Since Billy made a vow to his dying Grandfather that he'd watch over his Grandmother, he's struggling to keep her out of the nursing home. Grandma Gilda Mae channels Baa-Baa Ram-Bam (a 2000 year old Barbarian) and is a bit flaky (think Sophia on "Golden Girls"), but is otherwise competent. Billy's evil aunt (Mabel Perkins) is always trying to "trip Gilda up" and send her to the home to collect her inheritance. Sometimes… Baa-Baa Ram-Bam is all that stands in her way. Sometimes. But what stands between Baa-Baa Ram-Bam and…

Sanity?

Pray for Billy. He needs it.

About the Author

I'm a founding member of the Southern Indiana Writers— As a group we publish theme-based anthologies, and we've taught a writing class at Indiana University Southeast. Our anthologies are sold at various locations in and around Southern Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. I've been a writer/panelist at Conglomeration (Sci-Fi Convention— Louisville) and I freelance (as film crew) with an independent movie company in Louisville, in addition to designing the movie poster and Video/DVD box. Working with BOLD Productions proved to be an invaluable experience in film production.

Short stories, novels and (optioned) screenplays are my focus. British Sports Cars, metaphysical studies and scuba are a few of my interests.

I was represented by the L. Harry Lee Literary Agency (WGA signatory) until the death of Mr. Lee closed the agency. He is greatly missed by many.
