- Truth be told I tried to overcome this dilemma of not being the lead role in my life, but it was out of my control I guess, never really had that strength mentally to do it. Besides physically I was also unable to live my dreams. I don’t know what it is or why it happened to me but I am unable to walk straight without crutches , it’s some sort of spinal deformation something that they call a CSD – Congenital Spinal Deformation. Basically I look straight and fine but only I can’t walk straight and any kid on crutches doesn’t look good and hence can’t be a “Hero” in his own life story. You might have heard that ‘When people don’t understand something, the often criticize and ridicule it.’ Well its very true actually, the kids in my school never really cared about why I was on crutches and why I couldn’t be anything like they were, maybe that’s normal. But if that’s normal then being surrounded by kids like those who jump to conclusion without knowing anything about it actually made me feel more ‘Normal’.

With that being said I must tell you ever since I was growing up I always had this dream of running, maybe that was primarily because I couldn’t but in any case I loved to run or at least watch people running, but I never really thought of having anything to do with it until I turned 13...
