About the Author

Erika Hammerschmidt was born in Minnesota and graduated from Augsburg College with two language majors and an art minor. She was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at the age of 11. She and her husband John C Ricker co-authored the science fiction novel "Kea's Flight." On her own, she has created the short story collections "Lonely and Precocious," "Loving and Precarious," and "Logical and Preposterous," and the webcomic "Abby and Norma."
