The Darlington siblings are back with a primer to cocktail making and music worthy of any Saturday night plans (a sequel to 2018's Booze {}amp; Vinyl: A Spirited Guide to Great Music and Mixed Drinks). One could be tempted to think of this as an, ahem, coffee-table book, with its clever bi-fold layout reminiscent of the best gatefold record covers. However, it is also chock-full of knowledge, offering hours of entertainment for audiophiles and mixologists of all experience levels. The book is organized by type of music; one can easily pick a record and corresponding cocktail to meet individual moods or the vibe of a gathering. A brief album overview and two cocktail recipes, along with party themes, informative sidebars, and the occasional snack round out each album profiled. Recipes, albums, and artists are indexed so favorites can be easily revisited. New and seasoned vinyl collectors can even use this as a guide to developing a wide-ranging and diverse library of records, spanning 1956 to 2016.
