Overview

Boomerang is a thought-provoking, hope-filled retelling of one of the best parables ever told by Jesus Christ. When Jesus spoke, he always included stories that stuck. One of his most familiar is one that is referred to as "The Story of the Prodigal Son," found in the book of Luke. And like every one of Jesus' stories, this one has more to it than meets the eye. At first, it appears to be a story that is all about the lost son and how he finds his way back home. But on second look, the story seems to be more about the love of the Father. Then again, maybe it's really about the older brother that never strayed at all, yet lived at home with a sour and sorry attitude. So what did Jesus have in mind when he told the story? The author believes that he had all three characters in mind with three different lessons contained within. And with that thought in mind, Boomerang is a book separated into three parts that digs deeper into each character and looks at how they are seen and revealed in the world today.
