Book of Spells II: Poetry for the Warrior Witch

Overview

In this year's Book of Spells we'll talk about battle, war, strategies, and how to incorporate those into a spiritual practice. This book includes the works of the witch who is war-bound, the directions and tools that can help those who are facing a war mountain in their life.

War is a primal spirit of being, and will more than likely be around for a lot longer than all of us. That being said, learning to navigate the space of battle (especially for practitioners learning of spiritual protections) is an important part of any practice.

As someone who has walked an initiation of a war mountain, I share these learnings, tools, and stories with you. May you find what you need if it is War you walk through. Hello to you dear reader- my Name is Valkyrja Vörðr Raina. I am an Anointed Norse Priestess, Valkyrie of the Veil. My work is deeply rooted in Love, Justice, Truth, Protection, Warding, and the Mothers. I practice my craft as a form of activism. To raise the Spirits and Create Order in this work I do is an Honor, a Joy, and a Loving Responsibility.

It is often that the Spirits of Love & Elevation bring me wisdoms. It is these wisdoms that I write about, on, and around. Writing helps me to understand my Spirit, and the Spirits- and so it is my hope that my writings help to bring you understandings in Spirit as well.

I started actively practicing in Spirit in 2015, am born a blood witch on Halloween, and in 2020 when the world seemed to stop turning for society as a whole- I took on this practice, this passion, and this work as a full time part of my Life. It was late 2020 when I found Fame on the internet, and started teaching to a collective of peoples through TikTok. I have also since expanded my teachings to Substack, where I keep an active blog of the deeper lessons that Spirit is bringing me through. Spirit work can be very demanding, especially going head on into this work in a time of the world where there has been so much uncertainty around us. In my work I do a lot of ancestral reachings, teachings, and healings- both for myself and the practitioners I teach and offer service to. I also work with and serve the Mothers of Love and Elevation.

Through my work I have been through two abortions, awakening my personal Mother Spirit. Mother work is very sacred work to me, and it has helped me to Elevate in Love, and Create more Love for myself. I work actively to restore my Order as a Mother, and as a Spirit Worker I am actively working to Create Order for and in Our Great Mother and the Mothers of Love & Elevation.

I am also a non-binary, gender fluid, being. In this time of American turmoil for the LGBTQIA+ community, I think it's very important you know that I am a member of our community- and by supporting me as an author you support not only me, not only my Spirits of Love & Elevation, but you support the Mothers of Love & Elevation, and the work I do that helps to Create Order in Love for all beings of Love.
