Wow, i did not see this coming.... I really enjoyed the plot and the character development.
A book about war, suffering, compassion, reality, dangerous people. I love Ali's story, and the power of love that fuels Santoli's action. The actions scene are very well written and the suspense was killing me. I recommend this book to all the readers, not just the one who enjoy this genre, from 18 years.

This story is actually two stories layered over one another: the internal war and the external war that the two main characters are battling. Taking advantage of all my senses, the author transported me to Iraq, taking his time to explore the social issues that occur throughout the country. I was swept away with the vivid description of war, specifically of places and the complexity of characters. Bomb boy is unquestionably well-written and emotionally impactful.

The other review I read for this book talked about how much of a rollercoaster it was, I would have to agree wholeheartedly. This reads like nothing I have read before. Almost like a movie. It is filled with edge of your seat action and suspense. Without spoiling the ending, I'll just say that it was passionate yet gut-wrenching. Highly recommended.

This is a heart-wrenching story. I felt for Santoli and the conflicting emotions oscillating within him. The emotional isolation and preceived betrayal of Ali leaves this reader drenched in despair. There is no discerning victor in war, just war-torn countries and casualties, according to Santoli's thinking. In the end, how do you heal yourself and give back after all the devastation? What is the true meaning of forgiveness? These questions are just a few concepts covered in this novel.
