About the Author

Megan Peters began writing regularly in 2020, just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, she started to write everything from standup material to spiritual meditations to systems content to aesthetic and cultural meditations and poetry. She cannot imagine life without writing at this point. In it, she finds integrity among others, her environment, and herself. She decided to start self-publishing small pieces of her creative work as she neared the finish line of her doctoral work in systems engineering, in which she studies the impact of market architecture and social capital on supply chain resilience in Uganda. Megan founded LIGHTSIDEOUT, an innovative activewear company, with her partner Fazila from Kabul. This and Megan's other work, such as Ecosystemic Change and teaching, can be found at her website meglpeters.com.
