Overview

Xifanos, the island nation of the warrior women, holds an extensive history fraught with heroics, faith and tradition. A xenophobic nation, they rarely allow outsiders within their borders beyond the occasional trading ship at the docks. Males are second class citizens and foreigners and non-humans a step below that. The Mother's Council presides over the Queendom with the Queen seated at its head. Long have their staunch traditions and female dominated caste systems ruled this iron nation of plenty. But, like every great nation across all of Pangias and even all of EL they have secrets in their past, secrets that could disrupt the delicate ruling balance. One of those secrets is about to rear its ugly head striking fear among the people and awakening a dark cult that has long awaited their time to rise into power and challenge the very core of Xifanos. The reawakening of a mighty dragon thought long gone tosses the country into turmoil and draws in outsiders on a quest to locate the dragon's lair and be rid of the deadly beast before it causes more damage or creates more chaos.
When a pair of young Xifanion men volunteer for the quest joining a motley ship of famed pirates from beyond Xifanos' borders, tides begin to shift. Together, with the help of others drawn into the path they will seek to uncover the dragon's lair and possibly more than they ever cared to know about the history of their reclusive nation in the process. Magic, seamanship, history and a healthy dose of adventure fill the story as the unlikely band of heroes sails towards unknown regions in search of the lair of the mighty dragon Vagragorn.

I currently live in Commerce City Colorado with my husband two dogs, and two cats, though my work carries me all across the country and beyond the borders as a flight attendant and an instructor for other flight attendants. I have a degree in studio art, have been an actor and professional artist, as well as many other things, but I have found my love for writing which stems from my love of role-playing games and reading. Fantasy adventure is my absolute favorite, though science fiction follows at a close second. I have learned that writing is good for my soul.
