BLOOD MAGNOLIA is the second in a series of stories about Chance Lafontaine and BB Cogburn. The setting for the story is the area around Brice's Cross Roads and Tupelo in northern Missippi. The monstrous battle between Chance and Ulysses Baxter continues after the former Coroner of Marshall County returns from the dead and goes after our hero to finally put an end to what he sees as a thorn in his side. What would a trip to Brice's Cross Roads be without a visit from the ghosts of the men that fought there. Will their continuing battle in the afterlife overflow into our realm?
