About the Author

Retired from clinical social work and art education, Rita Maduell Huie is a flutist, oil painter, mixed media artist and freelance writer. She and her husband, also retired and a trombonist, live in the middle of Texas on a farm having escaped from the chaos of the big city. Originally from New Orleans, Huie has two children's publications with West Bow Press: "Trio", and "God's Colorful Palette". Huie offers workshops on some of the art and writing therapies in this workbook. Together they have three children and four grandchildren, sheep, chickens, dogs and a cat.
