Overview

"BLESSED WITH CANCER" tells the story of a young, attractive, and successful business woman and mother, who discovered a lump in her breast just months after the loss of her good friend to cancer. This begins her journey through the pain of cancer surgeries, treatments and eventual recovery as she fights for her life.

Along the way, she also discovers the many blessings she encounters on this path with the support of her family, friends, neighbors, the community, professional doctors and nurses, and even from complete strangers that touched her life in their own unique ways. Each special blessing confirmed what was meant to be and encouraged her every step to do whatever it took to survive.

As her story unfolds, you will realize two very important lessons, as she did, that life is too precious to let anything take that away from you, and the old adage that "whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger." Linda also knows from personal experience that not everyone survives their Breast Cancer battle. Yet, she strongly believes that everyone can win in life if they "fight the good fight" and make the most of the rest of their life for their friends and their families, but most of all, for themselves.

Read "Blessed With Cancer" today and be blessed!

About the Author

Linda Mobley is an attractive woman in her early-forties with a teenage daughter and a life full of experience, pain, love, laughter and healing. Her experiences are brought to life in this book as she tells the story of her cancer survival and the blessings God brought to her during this most difficult time in her life. She also shares how her love and commitment to her young daughter gave her the strength and drive to stay alive. As she shared her story with friends and families, she was told over and over again to write a book. She was asked to share her story and provide hope and encouragement to others facing similar life-threatening battles with cancer.

In spite of being abandoned at a young age by her mother and father, as well as experiencing four failed marital relations in her young life, Linda managed to keep going. To her credit, she ran a successful family business for several years, had a successful career as a flight attendant for a major airline, owned her own retail store, and volunteered for and became the spokesperson for a number of charities, the most recent being the Making Memories Foundation. Almost crushed by her long bout with Breast Cancer, Linda survived and has become a positive and uplifting champion for “living”, and for all the best that life has to offer.

Linda feels her story is no better or worse than the stories of others, but that it is just her story. Her positive, uplifting spirit comes out in her zest for life and her will to enjoy the gift of her survival. As she has learned, it’s not the challenges that we face in life, but the way we deal with them. She wrote her story so it could help so many others who have had their life impacted or interrupted by the struggle with cancer, with her personal knowledge and understanding of their challenges, and with her passionate desire of helping and encouraging them not to give up. As her story unfolds, you will realize two very important lessons, as she did, that life is too precious to let anything take that away from you, and the old adage that “whatever doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.” Linda also knows from personal experience that not everyone survives their Breast Cancer battle. Yet, she strongly believes that everyone can win in life if they “fight the good fight” and make the most of the rest of their life for their friends and their families, but most of all, for themselves.
