While under voodoo magic, she finds a cave where she symbolically trades her life for fame. Not knowing what she's done. Believing it was a dream, she continues on this downward cycle of blessings with price tags. About the Author

Ronder Scott has written her second novel published by Tenth Street Press. Blake's Rope gives the reader urban- fantasy with a mind-tingling dose of supernatural. This eclectic composition could only come from the mind of a sophisticated writer. Her work is nuclear not to mention uncensored. She has captured the true essence of having characters come to life, existing in meaning, raw, intelligent and real. Born in Minden, Louisiana and the setting for her African- American occult novel you feel the southern imprint with the turning of every page. The gritty detailing of the fictional underbelly of the south, the musical renditions and how it's all connected to one person's legacy brings this story from imagination to full conception. She is married and spends most of her time in Houston, Texas, where she is a graduate student in the counseling field at Texas Southern University.
