About the Author

Teaching in a diverse high school for thirty years opened my eyes to how different households could be. Teaching history those years allowed discussions on how young people felt on politics, culture and race. This motivated me to wonder, 'what if' we followed Malcolm X's dream instead of Dr.King's dream.
