Overview

A murder by harpoon was committed in Forest Row in the Weald. The victim is 50-year-old Peter Carey, a former boatswain on the Dundee Unicorn whaling ship. Young inspector Stanley Hopkins turns to Sherlock Holmes, whom he considered his mentor, for help.
