Black&Blue, as the name implies is a play on words; it illustrates in many ways how life beats up on us all, yet at the same time portrays the desperate treatment and history of minorities in the American justice system. The storied theme questions whether society has evolved in America over the last hundrred years, yet through love and enduring sacrifice shows that its within us all to make a change. Black & Blue is a historic struggle of one man against the system, the way its always been, sexist ideals, the good old boy system, religion, God and a body and mind that like so many of us, simply can't take it anymore.
