About the Author

Jeffery Farnol (1878-1952) was a prolific English author. Born in London and reared in Kent, Farnol married an American and move to the United States in 1900 where he earned a living as a scene painter. Farnol returned to Britain in 1910 and began a professional writing career which lasted more than forty years. Farnol (along with Georgette Heyer) is credited with establishing the Regency Romance genre.
