About the Author

William Trion Patterson, Jr was born in Atlanta Georgia, he is known as “Bill” to all his family and friends. He is a rare true Atlantian since he was born at Crawford Long Hospital and grew up on 14th Street attending Home Park Elementery near Georgia Tech where he graduated from O'Keefe High Schoool. He at-tended Georgia State University and Oglethorpe University. He graduated from Dekalb College. He has been married since 1977 to Carol Patterson, RN of Lithonia Georgia.

His first published Kindle book was Volume 1 of "Poems For A Grieving Heart". It is also available for the Nook. The first volume is part of three planned volumes and is made up of poems and prose that he wrote that has helped him through the loss of his only son, Christopher Lee Patterson. Who died very tragically after an automobile accident on De-cember 22, 1999. Then on July 22, 2004 he lost his father and then his mother on No-vember 20, 2006.

He also was diagnosed on October 22, 2010 with Myasthenia Gravis (for more information about the disease visit www.myasthenia.org) and for over 6 months prior to that time he had lost most of his voice and so he decided that he needed to start planning a possible new career to earn a living if his voice did not return. He is also writing several other books as well as also writing several novels using Create Space that is the physical book printing arm of Amazon. . As of this publication his voice has not gotten any better and the more he tries to talk the weaker it gets during the day to times where it is barley a whisper.

His newest passion in his life is as "Pops" as he wants to be known by his only grandson Braxton Lee Bagwell. He has a blog just for him where he writes almost daily about his grandson. www.whatsupwithbrax.com
