BIBLICAL GRAY
Biblical grays are topics in the bible that most would not consider being something that is "black and white" when it comes to interpretation. Much like gray areas, biblical grays tend to require more thought and study to produce a comfortable interpretation that would be hard to disprove. A "black and white" topic in scripture is written in plain, understandable text, and means exactly what it says.

When reading texts and searching for the proper interpretation, what is often taught is that texts should be read within its appropriate context. What many miss is that the appropriate context cannot be limited to the section of the chapter (or entire chapter) the text comes from. The appropriate context is both within the chapter the text is derived from and the Bible in its entirety.

Biblical grays can arise from the most unambiguous verses. In this book title Biblical Gray, we will look at nine of the most outlandish of biblical grays plaguing the church world today. Many of these biblical grays have been ingrained within our minds, especially for those who grew up in the church. We have been brainwashed to believe beliefs that are not even biblical, mostly because these beliefs sound good. Being taught something that is erroneous repeatedly may sometimes begin to make sense, to the point that it becomes doctrine. Unfortunately, these nine biblical grays have become just that, as they have been taught for generation after generation without ever being questioned through the deep study of God's Word.
