Bible Introduction: Overflying The Bible from Genesis by Brethren in the Faith

Serial Study One Chapter at a Time Sequence From Genesis

Do you know the Bible? Would you like to learn or deepen your knowledge?

Join us as we mine the depths of God's word and you too will be filled with joy as you learn more about the Bible.

The Introduction to the Bible Book shows us about:

  • The origin and history of the Bible
  • Preservation of the manuscripts
  • Structure and composition
  • Translations through the decades
  • How the Bible reached the Spanish-speaking world
  • Biblical Chronology
  • Introduction to the Old Testament
  • Introduction to the Pentateuch
  • Introduction to the Book of Genesis
  • Biblical comparisons and teachings applicable to our daily lives.

One of the proposed objectives of this Bible Study Series is to cover individually all 1189 chapters of the Bible, plus a general introduction and individual introductions to each of the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation.

Bible, originally a plural word, was used to refer to several books. We in the Christian world have adapted it to refer to the Holy Scriptures. Because although it is one book, the Bible contains many books. To make it accurate we believe that there are 66 divinely inspired books and this is what distinguishes it from all other books, when we read or listen to the reading of the Bible we are hearing the voice of the author. The author of the Bible is God.

The intention of this series is precisely to familiarize you with the word of God.
