Beyond the Visible: Uniting Science and Religion
What is religion? Where does it come from? Which religion best fits our needs? Mankind has always been curious to discover what’s beyond the visible. From the moment that confusion surrounded the existence and the true identity of God, new sciences developed, and many philosophers fell into question. Many more questions have followed ever since. In Beyond the Visible: Uniting Science and Religion, author Issa Gammoh ponders some of these age-old questions, considering whether there is a universally true answer. In the twenty first century, with humanity’s advanced knowledge and ways of thinking, science is getting closer to resolving many of the questions that have been confounding humanity for centuries. The discovery of the Higgs field, the derivation of the famous equation E=mc2, a better psychological understanding of ourselves, and our developing knowledge about neurology—all of these and much more provide us with guidance. One way of thinking can link all of these concepts together to reach scientific answers about many unknowns that humanity has pursued for many generations. Beyond the Visible travels a path of discovery to find the link between many unknown phenomena and theories. This journey seeks to erase your confusion with what will be the scientific evidences of invisible randomness. Expand your consciousness and understanding about life and the world in which you are living.

CHAPTER 1

The Invisible

The World as We Don't Know It

The objects we see around us in our everyday lives look mostly the same every day, and our visual sense has got used to seeing cars, trees, streets, people, and other familiar and tangible things. We've come to acknowledge them as visible, solid objects, and we've got used to thinking of these objects as either alive or dead and as having colour, shape, size, and state of matter. We have therefore limited our minds and our senses to following these patterns and functioning in the most superficial way.

Tangible objects appear to be static, but, in fact, they are not. Between one object and another are spaces that help us differentiate between them. We have built relationships with these objects, ascribed feelings to them, and given them value. Everyone loves their car! This biased mode of thinking, of labelling, of assigning value biases our perception and makes us view the world as a distortion, an illusion. You might wonder, what's beyond all that we perceive in the world as we know it?

What would happen if we removed these biases from our thinking? It's simple – we would see the very nature of things. Let's consider a glass half-filled with water. Matter is present in all three phases in that glass: the glass itself is a solid, the water is a liquid, and air filling the rest of the glass is a gas. That's quite simple; a student in grade 3 already knows that. If we go deeper inside, we observe that the glass is made up of very small silica molecules packed tightly against each other, but as we know, the particles in solids are not so tightly packed; there is space between them, and in that space, every molecule vibrates with a small amount of energy.

Now let's have a closer look at the water in that glass. Water is made up of molecules of hydrogen and oxygen that have more space between them than the silica molecules in glass, and they have more energy, so they vibrate more rapidly. In the section of the glass filled with air, we see those molecules have still more space between them and have still more energy than those of water and glass, and so they vibrate the most rapidly. So, these materials are present in three different forms because of the different configurations of their molecules and their differing amounts of energy. Furthermore, we mustn't forget that although the upper half of the glass looks empty, it is full, but of a gas, whose particles vibrate at a higher frequency than the liquid in the glass or the glass itself.

Most people will only detect and acknowledge those substances in the solid state and in the liquid state, whose molecules are packed together closely enough to reflect colours and take different shapes, and these people will ignore objects with molecules separated by more distance and vibrating more rapidly because they cannot see them. But human vision is only able to detect objects whose molecules emit or reflect energy within a limited range of frequencies.

The range we can detect, with some slight variations among people, is in frequencies from as low as the lowest-frequency particles in the body to as high as the highest-vibrating particles. Most of what we're used to seeing is a solid because we've been trained to acknowledge these objects through our evolutionary process. However, in general, people who monitor the internal processes of their bodies such as the changes in their emotional state are more in touch with the invisible in the external world as well, so these people will observe a wider range of objects, which is often accompanied by many other benefits for their understanding of the world. The range of what is visible for other creatures besides humans is also limited to objects that vibrate with frequencies in the range of the frequencies within their bodies as well.

We can begin to realize that there is a mysterious, completely different world beyond the visible world, a set of frequencies which we fail to detect with our eyes. The things that we don't see are much more complex and beautiful, and they affect our lives more profoundly than the things we see. This invisible world contains many states of invisible energy either confined to a certain space or spread all over. Given that what exists in the invisible world is energy and that we know quite a bit about energy from our scientific studies, we are able to study, observe, and apply existing theories to this invisible world and its effects on our lives.

We defined consciousness earlier as the amount and intensity of communication between different parts of the brain, and we can extend that to communication between the brain and the body and the outside world. We can further extend this definition to say that a human's level of consciousness is determined by how much a person's mind can translate external phenomena into information, store it, and recall it at appropriate times to use it to affect the person or his or her external environment.

At our current level of consciousness, with the help of scientific instruments, we are able to detect frequencies in the electromagnetic spectrum ranging from radio waves at 104 Hz to gamma rays at 1020 Hz, with visible light between 4.3 × 1014 Hz and 7.9 × 1014 Hz, this is not all of the spectrum; however, this is not the entirety of the spectrum. After all, along a spectrum, or continuum, there is no specific point at which one item ends and the next begins. However, this doesn't mean that we aren't able to differentiate the items along the continuum. In fact, if we expand and strengthen our consciousness, as reading this book will help you do, we will be able to detect waves at frequencies higher than those in the electromagnetic spectrum – one of the amazingly useful benefits of religion.

Our consciousness is on the verge of the next stage of evolution. Most people are able to perceive and understand visible objects, some are also able to perceive and understand the invisible to the limit that science has explained it, and some of these people can also perceive the invisible beyond what science has explained and approved, giving them a deeper insight into life than all others have, enabling them to become psychics, spiritualists, and others involved with what scientists consider supernatural. Everyone has the potential to be a psychic, and in my opinion, psychic insight is one of the most necessary tools for understanding our current times and the next stages of our evolution.

The real frequency range of the universe is infinite, and we will be going on a journey together in this book to explore how these frequencies shape not only the physical universe around us but also our lives in the present and future and beyond the death of our physical bodies.

Connectedness and Oneness

We have seen that everything around us is not static but is vibrating with energy within space, whether the particle is visible or invisible. Einstein's famous equation E=mc2 tells us that everything we see, everything that has mass, has energy. If the energy were removed, there would be no mass, and if the mass were removed, the energy would scatter into space.

We now know that it is a misconception to think that solids are stable and rigid solid and are, in fact, made up of particles slowly vibrating with energy and packed closely together. This is true of all solid matter, including that in our bodies. Expanding on that, we realize that the whole world is made up of a mixture of matter exhibiting different arrangements and forms and nonmatter, all vibrating at different frequencies to form everything around us. The following is a list of some things that fill the spaces around us, most of which we cannot see.

Earth's electromagnetic field

Earth's magnetic field extends outwards from the Earth's core, generated as if by a bar magnet at the centre of Earth along its axis. Unlike the field of a bar magnet, Earth's magnetic field changes over time because it is generated by the motion of molten iron alloys in Earth's outer core. This field surrounds the whole planet and, besides protecting the planet from solar wind, connects things on Earth and is a medium for other types of waves.

Radiation from electrical and magnetic devices

Sometimes we can detect these types of waves and other times we can't. Scientists say that exposure to them may cause harm to our physical bodies. It is undeniable that devices that store and transmit electricity convert significant amounts of energy from sources such as the wind, the burning of fossil fuels, and the sun into electromagnetic energy with the right frequency to operate electrical devices. This energy passes through lower-frequency objects such as walls and other visible things.

Energy of living organisms

Humans emit energy, just like any other system in the universe – our bodies and minds receive energy, process it, and emit it as another kind of energy. Humans also store energy, which contributes in a major way to determining everything about the life of each person. We must remember that since the universe views everything as neutral, there is no amount of energy that is required for storage, but since we are ingenious beings, we are able to determine how much and what kind – what specific frequency – of energy our bodies and minds need to operate, for energy fuels every being and is required for any function, including vibrating the particles of a solid. Energies at different frequencies can be used for different functions. Every living organism is able to receive forms of energy, but each organism is limited in its ability to detect energies to a specific range of frequencies. Living organisms also differ in the ways that their bodies process and the emit energies. In fact, the mechanisms of the reception, processing, and emission of energy are what keep the universe in a constant state of flux, making it a different place every second of every day; these are also what form the circle of life and what cause evolution.

To understand these processes, we must understand that energy density is, as Wikipedia defines it, "the amount of energy stored in a given system or region of space per unit volume ... Often only the useful or extractable energy is measured, which is to say that chemically inaccessible energy such as rest mass energy is ignored."

Therefore, the way we process the energy we receive determines our energy density, and the energy density of all living organisms is the main reason life exists, and it is one of the keys to unravelling many secrets of the universe, including the concepts of heaven and hell and the afterlife in general.

Brainwaves

Science has proven that all humans and all living organisms with brains emit electrical signals, brainwaves, from them. We humans emit these waves whenever we think about anything, whenever we feel something, whenever we wonder about anything. Mind reading is, in fact, possible: scientists have discovered that for every image and sound we perceive, our brain gives off a brainwave of a specific frequency, and shortly, scientists will be able to relate all feelings, experiences, pictures – all thoughts – to specific frequencies, enabling them to read people's minds. This certainly has the potential for danger, but on the other hand, our brains are stronger and smarter than any device that has ever been created, and people with a high level of consciousness and, therefore, intuition, are already able to detect and interpret other people's brainwaves and thus interpret what they are thinking, and more people are able to do this all the time. Some people with this ability, called indigo children, are born with highly advanced intuitive abilities. Most people with such an ability, however, require a lot of training and practice to use it properly, especially to differentiate one's own feelings and thoughts from those of others. In fact, some animals use electrical signals for communication, although not necessarily brainwaves. So, it is probable that in a couple of centuries, after our consciousness has significantly expanded, most people will be able to communicate with other people using only brainwaves.

Sounds

Sounds are waves of certain frequencies produced by many different forms of energy that have already been mentioned, including kinetic energy (when a ball hits the ground or the strings of an instrument or our vocal cords vibrate) and electrical energy (when music is played from a recording through a speaker). Sounds and many frequencies fill the world we live in and join together parts of the energy system that has a major impact on our lives. Our ears can perceive sounds only within a certain range of frequencies and intensities. Sound also plays an important role in the mind and has been employed in therapies to treat specific emotional or mental illnesses.

Higgs field

According to Wikipedia, "the Higgs boson or Higgs particle is an elementary particle initially theorised in 1964, and tentatively confirmed to exist on 14 March 2013. The discovery has been called 'monumental' because it appears to confirm the existence of the Higgs field."

Such a discovery is monumental because the Higgs field is thought to give particles mass: every vibrating particle in our universe swims through this field and is given mass through its interaction with this field, with the differing masses between particles caused by the strength of their interaction with the field. Those particles with a stronger interaction with the field will have more mass, and those particles with no interaction having no mass, unlike when people or objects swim in water and seem lighter because of their buoyancy.

The Higgs field is not considered to be a force, for it doesn't transfer energy. However, it interacts with all particles except those without mass. The Higgs particle, a boson, however, is considered to be a carrier of a force like the other force-transferring particles: photons, gluons, and electroweak bosons.

Other fields

Oil and water don't mix, and chemistry tells us that this is because different liquids have different densities – that their particles have different frequencies – and although they can be made to come together, eventually they will be separated, with one rising on top of the other. Solids also have varying densities, and they can be less dense than liquids, depending on the component particles of each substance and its energy.

Similarly, waves of frequencies beyond the visible portion of the electromagnetic spectrum can penetrate our solid bodies. These invisible waves influence us but never mix with our bodies, as their frequencies do not allow them to do this. These waves include radiation from other galaxies, solar energy, lunar energy, and energy from all other celestial bodies, including stars and supernovae – all things that have ever existed.

Although we cannot perceive these energies, the universe is filled with them. If we replaced every unit of energy with a visible mass, the universe would look like an infinitely huge solid block or ball filled with colours in which everything was mixed together yet still differentiated by its colour.

Expand Your Consciousness

Now that we've established that everything is energy, try this exercise to help you see it as such. Acknowledge that this book is made up of atoms, and then zoom in on it with your imagination until you can see those atoms. You'll then see that this book is made up of atoms but that those atoms stand at a distance from each other and are vibrating. Now, zoom your imagination back out and look at the room around you. Visualize everything as bundles of atoms that are bundles of energy with spaces between them. Next, look into empty space and visualize all the energy in that space in the form of waves generated by different parts of the universe today and in the past. Visualize the energy reaching you from stars and galaxies; feel its presence; feel your own energy.

Visualize that you are 70 per cent water, which is made up of molecules of vibrating atoms with space between them. Visualize that the solid components of your body also have atoms but that they are closer to each other and vibrate with less energy. Visualize also that you absorb energy from the world around you through your senses and process it inside your body and later emit the energy that results from that processing. Now, visualize the density of the energy inside you. Return to this exercise periodically until you've raised the value of everything around you to the same level as yourself and understand that you are connected to everything around you by invisible waves, in a way beyond your perception.
