About the Author

Ray Grasshoff is a writer in Austin, Texas.

His interests in the college football recruiting process began with his son’s experiences leading up to and including participation in college football programs at both the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision and Division III levels.

Formerly, Grasshoff was a public information officer at four State of Texas agencies – the Railroad Commission of Texas, the Texas Water Development Board, the Texas Department of Health’s Bureau of Radiation Control, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

He is the author of another nonfiction book, Man of Two Worlds, and has written numerous magazine articles. In addition, he has edited a weekly newspaper.

Grasshoff has a journalism degree from Texas A&M University.
