Ben Hatke is the author and illustrator of the

Thien Pham is a graphic novelist, comic artist, and educator based in Oakland, CA. He is the author and illustrator of the graphic novel
Sumo and did the art for the middle-grade graphic novel
Level Up, written by Gene Luen Yang, and is an ongoing comic contributor to

JT Petty is an American film director, author, and video game writer. His graphic novel
Bloody Chester was published by First Second. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
Hilary Florido‘s self-published mini-comics have been listed in the 2009 and 2010
Best American Comics. She works as a storyboarder on The Cartoon Network’s “The Regular Show.”
Mark Siegel is the author and illustrator of award winning picture books and graphic novels, including
Long Night Moon, How to Read a Story, Oskar and the Eight Blessings, Tiny Dancer, and the

Five Worlds series. He is also the founder of First Second books.
