About the Author

R.H.W. Dorsey is a multi-genre author. She has published works of poetry, fiction, and memoir. Ms. Dorsey grew up in the northeastern United States. For thirty years, she worked in the health insurance industry. Ms. Dorsey earned a four-year business degree. Her first published work was a chapbook, "Flashes of Fiction, Poetry & Prose," published by a small press in 2005 (no longer in print). She's currently retired and enjoying a second-act career as a writer.
This novel, "Better Off Alone": The Carole Johnson Chronicles, is Ms. Dorsey's first novel. An independent publisher, Ms. Dorsey, established the Second Acts Press, LLC as an imprint.
