Overview

After losing both of her parents to a drug overdose, Zoey thought her and her sister Kandi would be ok living with auntie Bee. However, Aunt Bee was only in it for the money their parents left. Once it was gone she kicked them out with nowhere to go. Which left them to live in different hotels on a daily or weekly basis. Zoey thought things would get better but after her sisters boyfriend Will tried to rape her, things took a turn for the worst. Kandi turned her back on her and left Zoey out on the streets. With nowhere to go, she runs into Midnight a cool dude from around the way who ran a small house with a few other girls who turned her on at a strip joint called The Pink where she could earn quick money. Desperate Kandi accepted the offer. She met a girl name Toni who was a chick but wanted Zoey, this where the chaos began. Zoey didn't know once she stepped foot into The Pink her life would change once again and she would be wrapped into a life full of lies, secrets and betrayal!

About the Author

Tonya Stacker is a first time author. She begin writing when her Mother passed away in 1998, journaling helped her to still feel connected to her. She journal to her Mother and God. Her friend/ Sister girl Kristine gave her a gift of a blessing box and this encouraged her more to write, to God. She loved listening to audio books which started while attending Nursing School. This inspired her to write her own novel. Her Novel begin in 2017 which was put on hold due to school. She proceeded to write in 2020 with the inspiration of sister Tanika Judie, author of Pain into purpose and Don't judge me. Another inspiration to write was Kristine which she thank dearly. She's a loving Mother as well as a healthcare provider. She takes pride in helping others both children and adults. This is the beginning of her writing career.
