Best Served Cold
When 18-year-old Dora was mercilessly violated at the hands of her owner at the Palmer Estate Plantation, her partner left no stone unturned to escape their life of slavery and contempt. The courageous couple struggled to break the shackles of captivity and built a home that was safer than anything they could have imagined during their years of slavery. But is any home ever safe from the recollections of the past?

As Ned and Dora's lineage grew, so did the shadow of their trauma, which absorbed itself into their grandchildren. As they learned of the social and racial injustice faced by their ancestors, the blood running in their veins began to pulsate. Things take a dark turn when Dora's resolute grandson decides to take the liberty of avenging her. What he claims as justice isn't as innocent as it seems, but will that stop him from acting upon his flaming instincts?

Best Served Cold will take you on an emotional journey. It will leave you with questions of right and wrong, justice and injustice, and keep you on your toes until the very end. Will justice prevail, or will the wicked take over the virtuous again?
